Even though these are the "top medical schools" doesn't mean the others are inferior. There are thousands of applicants from all over the world who apply and would happily accept any U.S. medical school. Another thing to be careful about is be aware of the price of tuition for some of these schools, going to Columbia Medical school ($43,700 ave tuition)can easily put you well above $200,000 dollars of dept after all is said and done and if you are planning on becoming a pediatrician or family practice physician you could go another much less expensive route to achieve the same means.
